Micheál Monaghan, Principal of A-Tech Energy, graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology with an Honours Degree in Architectural Technology in 2010.

 

With a keen interest in Energy in the Building Environment, he furthered his education and completed a Masters in Sustainable Energy Engineering again at WIT, and graduated in 2011.

He began his employment with a Dublin based External Insulation company in 2012 where he gained valuable experience both on site and off.

 

Micheál also completed the Irish Passive House Academy Training Course and in 2013 became a Certified Passive House Designer.

 

He is a fully Qualified Domestic & Non Domestic BER Assessor with many years experience. A-tech Energy have published over 2000 Domestic BER's and well over 1000 Non-Domestic BER's. 

 

In 2016, Micheál became the first person in Ireland to be registered with SITRI (Sound Insulation Testing Register of Ireland)
